The stage name for Scott Smith…Smitty West has just released his solo album titled, Your World, a collection of 12 original songs, spanning genres of folk, rock, metal, and country. He is the manager and keyboard player for Ojai-based original rock band, Myridian, and producer of the band's full-length cd, Prime Myridian, in 2007.
Smitty is the founder of Ojai Songwriters Anonymous, a collaborative support group of songwriters.
He has recently been selected as principal composer to write and score the music for Christopher Devine’s, Fighting With Sticks, a high-definition movie shot in Ojai.
He is a well-known musician in the Ojai Valley, and provides music for community events, churches, musicals, as well as solo and duet acts in venues throughout Southern California.
